Jean Childers Arnold

Jean Childers Arnold (Sarah) is excited beyond reason to be in Company at CCP with all these good and crazy people, renewing her musical career after a long hiatus. She grew up onstage at the Children’s Museum, Broad Ripple HS and had her first musical theater experience singing songs from Company and She Loves Me. Recently she played Elsa VonGrossenknueten in Musical Comedy Murders at Civic Theatre and as Jillian in a staged reading of Birth for the Spirit and Place Festival. Some of her favorite roles include a couple of Off-Broadway adventures playing the Fairy Godmother in a musical version of Cinderella at Riverside Shakespeare and Bianca in Taming of the Shrew at Stonybrook Theatre Festival.   Regionally she had turns as Barbara in Social Security, Mary Jane in BIG RIVER, Luciana, etc. Big musical fun was had as Val in Chorus Line once upon a time ago and she loved being Liz in Present Laughter. She played seven roles in the 1996 A Christmas Carol at IRT where she also interned and accidentally set the stage on fire during a production of Dracula in 1984 and was onstage with Viggo Mortensen in Romeo and Juliet – a luminous career to be sure.

Favorite local roles include Suzette in Don't Dress for Dinner, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Catherine in Proof, Maria in The Sound of Music, Tansy in The Nerd, Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress, Woman 1 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Audrey in FAHETGDS Murder Mystery, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, and the title role in Jane Eyre.  She has also served as the vocal director on productions of Assassins, Miss Saigon, Fiddler on the Roof, Side by Side by Sondheim, Oliver, Once Upon a Mattress, as well as Little Women here at CCP.

Clara Duray

Clara Duray (Amy) is extremely excited about her return to the musical theatre stage. While she has spent the last 17 years directing and accompanying high school musical theatre productions, she hasn’t performed in a musical since she was a senior at Valparaiso University in 1994. Ironically, that show was another Stephen Sondheim musical, Into the Woods as the Baker’s Wife. Her other stage experience includes the Narrator in Joseph, Maria in Sound of Music, Amanda in Glass Menagerie and Mrs. Paroo in Music Man. Clara is currently a full time music minister at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel. Also, Clara has worked for many years as a private piano and voice teacher and has sung professionally with local choral groups Mon Choeur, Meridian Vocal Consort and the Max Murphy Recording Group. Previously, she was a high school choral director at Zionsville HS and North Central HS. Clara would like to thank Willie for encouraging her to do this show and being a wonderful director. She thought her performing days were over, and has been having the time of her life doing this show! She would like to thank her husband Mark for being her partner in life and her “best friend.” While they’ve worked collaboratively on many shows, concerts, liturgies and recording projects, this is the first time they’ve ever performed in a show together. Finally, Clara would like to thank her four children Dominic (12), Sophia (10), Isabella (8) and Maria (5) for being so supportive and loving. They are truly the light of her life!

Mark Duray

Mark Duray (Bobby), a native of Whiting, Indiana, is currently the Director of Fine Arts at St. Theodore Guerin Catholic High School in Noblesville. His wife Clara (Amy) and he co-direct the music ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel. Mark is the proud father of four children – Dominic, Sophia, Isabella, and Maria. Mark would like to thank the cast of Company here at CCP for their patience with his busy schedule during the month of December

Emily married the love of her life, Brad, who is also a teacher at Cherry Tree. Though she hasn’t been involved in theatre since high school, Emily is so excited and thankful to get back on the stage.

Tom McTamney

Tom McTamney (Larry) returned this fall to theatre as Aaron Fox in Footlite’s production of Curtains, after an eight-year hiatus from acting. Curtains was such an amazing experience that Tom decided to stay with acting, and in November, he was singing barbershop harmony as Oliver Hix in Footlite’s production of The Music Man. Tom was also in productions of On the Twentieth Century at Footlite, A Grand Night for Singing at Wayne Township, and Kiss Me Kate at Civic. “This performance is dedicated to my late partner Larry who introduced me to and helped me fall in love with Sondheim’s work.”

Kristopher Owens

Kristopher Owens (David) was most recently seen in Dreamgirls with American Idol’s Trenyce. Kris has performed in or directed many shows. He is also an avid playwright, and member of the Dramatists Guild.
