CALL FOR DIRECTORS - 2012-13 SEASON

Carmel Community Players is calling for Directors for the 2012-2013 Season.

If you are interested in directing for Carmel Community Players during our 2012-2013 season, please submit a proposal to Lori Raffel, CCP Artistic Director via email at linesbylori1@aol.com, or in writing to the Playhouse at 14299 Clay Terrace Boulevard, Suite 140, Carmel, IN 46032.

We generally produce 3 to 4 plays and 1 musical during our season – all performed at the Carmel Community Playhouse in Clay Terrace.

The new season will be announced at our annual meeting in May, so please provide submissions no later than March 1, 2012.

We are looking for proposals that include:
• 1 to 3 plays/musicals that you would like to direct (in the order of importance for you)
• At least one copy of the script and a synopsis of the play/musical
• Time of year preference
• A brief outline describing your vision of the show
• A short resume outlining your theatre and directing experience musical
• Individuals to be a part of your production team

The Artistic Director, Lori Raffel and Assistant Artistic Director, Earl Campbell, will set up an appointment with each director candidate to discuss the project(s) in preparation for presenting the season to our board of directors in April. When considering material, amongst many other criteria, we will be looking at suitabilityfor CCP venues, our audiences and our budget.

At this time, no theme has been selected for next season's shows, so submit material that you are passionate about without concern about fitting a theme.
